If you have seen a Wes Anderson film you know that there is a special aesthetic that he likes to use. There is a retro, monochrome, yet vibrant feeling you get when seeing these spaces. For a fun little bust of inspo, I thought I would share some Wes Anderson inspired spaces, and ways you can bring it into your own home.
Using a limited colour palette is the best way to achieve this style. I have a series on this blog on 'Monochrome Homes', and this style fits perfectly into it. The only difference would be to make it more curated and retro. Head on into your local antique or thrift shops and poke around for some fun and funky items, and if you find a few with the same colours, thats even better!
Another great thing about this style is that you can have fun with pink. Now if you are like me, you love anything pink, but may find it hard to incorporate into your space. If you have a look at all these pictures, you will see an underlying theme of pink! It's so fun.
Let me know in the comments which Wes movie is your favourite! And if you like this style please share with your friends!
Till next time
